Craiova, Romania - FIFTH MEETING
The fifth project meeting took place in Romania instead of Turkey. The change of place was due to the political instability in that part of Europe/Asia that caused a lot of concerns to students’ parents and teachers. So, European Values was a more than welcome theme for our meeting, as well as our debates. The programme was rich in learning/teaching/training activities on various subjects: Romanian, English, Art, Music, Geography, History, European Values, ICT, sports, pottery, cultural visits and discoveries of Romanian scenery in the trip to Cosesti. High Walls and Open Doors was the theme of debate, as well as the starting point for the project magazine; that continued with lectures on how young people prepare for their future, European Labor Market for youth, as well as folkloric, artistic and cultural discoveries, with a treat from the young musicians from the High School of Arts of Craiova. Full of emotions, this meeting brought together forty guests from six countries and a great number of Romanian students, parents, teachers and local community guests that enjoyed new and rich experiences under the sign of friendship, tolerance, freedom and open mind.
